Bubba Ho-Tep, the strangest movie I have ever been dying to see.

"If you see one ELVIS VS. MUMMY movie this year...This Is It!" - (Actual Quote)

The premise is this, Elvis (Bruce Campbell) who is actually alive is stuck in a Retirement home. He had switched places with an impersonator who got fat and died, and then he was unable to rebecome him in the face of so many crazy impersonators. One of his buddies (Ossie Davis) is an elderly black man who thinks he is J.F.K., and the two of them fall under attack by Bubba Ho-Tep an ancient Egyptian god. These two fighting evil has got to be the most original thing I can think of, and the fact that it got made is astounding. From the sound of it, you would think it would be garbage but it scores a 100% on rottentomatoes.com and has been generally well received. I usually watch whatever Bruce Campbell makes including his made-for-tv stuff, and this is the first movie that I am really excited about from him in quite awhile.
