Buffy Season 1 - Reviewed

Season 1 of Buffy was overall very poor. However, since I am half way through the second season I can say it improves. The main culprit is the characters, instead of quirks they have character flaws that drive you up the wall. Cordelia (I may have taken liberties in the spelling) is attractive but brings nothing else enjoyable to the show, I couldn't wait for her to step off screen. Xander is developed into a younger whinier version of Chandler from Friends. Buffy goes back and forth between brilliant and extremely ditzy, and Willow is too nerdy. Only Angel was consistently not annoying. The first season is only to be watched to get the back story for the thoroughly improved second season. All of the characters have been tweaked to have only quirks as needed and the addition of a new interesting villian (Spike) and Seth Green are great strides towards good.

Warning: Do Not Watch Season 2 Before Season 1

OK, Warnings aside, best show ever. Once again I can tell you little so as to not sour your enjoyment when you watch it, and you must watch it. Just as good as the first season, maybe better its so hard to compare. All of the acting is stepped up because of the popularity every random supporting actor is recognizable, although less big names slid by for cameos. Action Packed, I can tell no more.

Warning: Season 3 starts soon, catch up so you can enjoy.
