This Week's Haul

On Saturdays I usually hit the local Flea Markets and Yard Sales for some good old movies cheap. This week was a good one with 6 movies found for less than 3 bucks each on VHS.

A Perfect World - Starring Kevin Costner and Clint Eastwood (who also directed) the story although a beat awkward was interesting and the play between Costner and the boy he kidnapped is just fun.

The Transformers Movie – This and the G.I.JOE movie are the best 80’s cartoon movies

Other People’s Money – A movie that works because Danny DeVito is one of the best.

A League of their Own – A decent feel-good movie from Penny Marshall during Tom Hanks funny period. And one of the few movies with Madonna in it that isn’t lousy.

Marked for Death – I am one of the few that enjoys a good Steven Seagal movie. Steven Seagal is the only action star that just wrecks house on everyone all the way through, while everyone else will start loosing a fight just for tension. Sometimes I just want to see the bad guys eat it hard.

Uncle Buck – John Candy is funnier here than in most of his movies, almost as good as Canadian Bacon.
