Dave's Blog once again shames mine by making me aware that I failed to have any Halloween related post. His Top Ten List is all golden however I will take some different approaches.

Top Ten Teen Horror Films
1. Scream - Wes Craven at his best with a horror movie with enough misleading clues, murder, and Henry Winkler to make any movie great. You can skip the sequels however, they suck.
2. I Know What You Did Last Summer - I wanted to hate this movie, but it was decent. Nice death scenes, and some of my favorite horror elements are used well. I wasn't a huge fan of the villian, but you can't win em all. The sequel was watchable, however you can survive without it.
3. Texas Chainsaw Massacre (New) - It was nothing like the original (see my earlier review), but what they kept from the original and the addition of R. Lee Ermey make it listworthy.
4. Urban Legends - We all loved those Urban Legends when we were younger and someone had to eventually make a movie about it. I didn't like the lead actress but the horror was tight and the ending was decent.
5. Final Destination - This movie was great, the death scenes were all interesting and often original. Plus, the pacing of the movie made it all so much more suspenseful.
6. Friday the 13th 1+2 - I liked the first two more than any of the others, but you have to admit that Jason makes it happen. Plus the scene where he beats the person in the sleeping bag against the tree is brilliant.
7. Nightmare on Elm Street (Franchise) - I personally liked it better when Freddy got goofy and started kicking out catchphrases but the killer in your dreams is too cool to ignore. Plus, the song by DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince is awesome. (Nightmare on My Street) "You turned off David Letterman, now you must die" "I'm your DJ now Princy"
8. Halloween 1+2 - You have to watch them back to back (And count the bullets at the end of the first and compare with the replay at the beginning of the second) Jamie Lee Curtis begins her career as the virginal victim of many bad guys, and Michael Myers (Not the one of Austin Powers fame) is one of the coolest horror villains.
9. The Lost Boys - This movie rocks from beginning to end, and is the finest movie showcasing both Coreys (Haim and Feldman). A must see
10. The Blair Witch Project - The backlash on this movie was pretty harsh, but this movie was amazing. Few movies can freak me out and this one had me going for a while.

Honorable Mention to Joyride and Thirteen Ghosts

Top Ten Movies That Scared Dean
1. The Ring - This movie is so scary. Despite its misleading PG-13 rating this movie has perfect suspense and some of the most mind-tearing images in cinematic history.
2. The Exorcist - I watch this movie when I have to, nothing is more disturbing than a demon tormenting a little girl in the most gruesome and vile ways. You have to watch Ernest or something after it just to get to sleep.
3. The Blair Witch Project - Man, I got into this movie when I watched it, and I was freaked out. The woods aren't quite the same after dark anymore.
4. Event Horizon - The video they play of the original crew still flashes in my mind when I think of the movie. Very Good horror movie.
5. Ghostbusters - Now I was young at the time, but this movie works as a horror movie especially in the beginning. Now, I enjoy it for its comedy, but aw man I got freaked when I was a kid.
6. Jaws - I still don't swim in the ocean, this movie and my frequent viewings of it have given me my only Phobia. Its gotta be the greatest movie ever, and nothing tops a shark for killing.
7. Poltergeist - Another perfect Spielberg movie, it pulled you in just like it did the family. At first you were curious and amazed and then BAM scared as hell.
8. IT - Tim Curry plays the best evil clown ever.
9. The Monster Squad - Another from my youth, this one unites all the Universal Horror legends and lets them go on a bunch of kids. And Remember "Wolfman gots Nards"
10. The Birds - Hitchcock is brilliant, I'm not generally afraid of birds but what if they all united against me? The snappy quick neck motions of birds are now suspiscious to me.

Top Five Suck Horror Movies
1. Valentine - The cast was decent but a villian in a baby mask? Try again
2. Child's Play - No matter how you slice it, unless I'm asleep there is no way that Chucky is going to find a way to kill me.
3. Queen of the Damned - This movie sucks mostly due to the death of Aaliyah, since she couldn't finish and they couldn't budget reshooting a piece of crap was stitched together from an already doomed and shoddy movie.
4. The Mothman Prophecies - I've mocked it before, this movie just never started. I have never seen such a lousy suspense or horror movie.
5. Jeepers Creepers - I have never gotten so into a horror movie and then so immediately cashed out and became disgusted. This movie begins well and then tanks hard, it never recovers and the ending was so obvious they could have just skipped it.
