Onimusha 3

After over a month of waiting I finally put Onimusha 3 in my PS2 and it was amazing...for about 5 minutes. Then I got interupted, and have yet to be able to return to it. But I will tell you that you could purchase this game just to watch the intro movie. Holy Crap. I honestly did only play for 5 minutes and I died, due to my inability to figure out the buttons in time. A large creature with a giant flail crushed me to death. I plan on making another go at it tonight, and hopefully will be able to give you more after I delve deeper into the game, but all signs are pointing towards deliciousness.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

If I mispelled Azkaban I apologize. I snuck out to the movies on Saturday with Julie and caught the ever elusive Harry Potter (we were denied the prior week). I have greatly enjoyed the previous movies and if you did as well than I believe you will be equally thrilled by this one. If you did not like the first two but for some reason are still watching them, you may like the third installment better because some of the elements have changed. Harry is more mature and so are the themes in the movie, it isn't as simple as it has been before. The mood of the movie is darker, while at the same time the humor has been heightened somewhat to balance. Julie noted that the scenery and layout of Hogwarts has changed and I think I caught some of that too, and I don't know why they opted to change things up however it is largely trivial. The only part of the movie that I disliked was the portrayal of the snotty Malfoy. He was reduced to the lowest level of pathetic bully, who cried as much as he insulted in the movie. I feel that the conflicts to come between Harry and his friends and him will be lessened greatly by his flagrant cowardice. All in all, delightful and another movie I will purchase upon its release.
